Is the Factorial Repeated Measures design is the same as the Mixed Design?

    The most important thing for you to know is that mixed designs has both repeated and randomized components. In addition, there can be an interaction effect in mixed models (e.g. the example on the hand out- the interaction of time and condition).

    No, a factorial Repeated Measures design is a design with two or more Repeated Measures IVs.

    A Mixed Design has at least 1 RM IV and at least one RG IV.
