On an earlier article review, one TA commented that numbers before measurements of time (e.g. years) are always put in number (e.g. 5) not word (e.g. five) format. Then on a later article review, I got a comment that numbers less than ten should always be put in word format, even for when describing number of years (e.g. one year instead of 1 year). Which is it? In the article I was reviewing, the author used the format "1 year."
