effect size reporting for t-test
Does the effect size need to be written in our report for the t-test. If so, how do we write that up (ex. with 95% confidence that the true population mean lies between 0.01 to 10.01)?
This blog is for the use of students enrolled in either section of PG851. It is intended to be a forum for asking, discussing, clarifying, and helping.

You may either compute the d (see the class handouts) or provide the confidence interval noted in the t-test results...but note that that is NOT the confidence interval of the true population mean, but rather the confidence interval of the difference between the two means.
